In the room L331, Dr. Agnieszka Będkowska-Kopczyk, the coordinator of the project, and Aleksandra Hasior, the ERASMUS+ institutional coordinator of the ATH, gave all the guests their warm welcome. The next point of the event was an interactive quiz concerning Polish Christmas customs. The correct answers to some more difficult questions of the former were provided by Mr. Bartosz Dębowski, during a presentation on the Polish traditions connected with Christmas, New Year, and the Carnival. After the presentation, there was a time for an open discussion on ways of celebrating in different cultures. The discussion was fostered by a set of sweet snacks, and after the formal part of the meeting ended, the participants went to the ATH canteen where the whole event was concluded with lunch.
The meeting was the first in 2023 of the cycle of thematic meetings that the Welcome Point ATH is planning to organize to foster international integration at the University of Bielsko-Biala and to promote intercultural understanding among our academic society.
