The Welcome Point was created in May 2022, under the program University of Bielsko-Biala  – your Friendly Space, financed by the Welcome to Poland program of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). 

The Welcome Point’s mission
Welcome to the Welcome Point of the University of Bielsko-Biała! Adapting to a new environment can be challenging. That's why the Welcome Point is here to provide you with a welcoming and friendly environment where you can study and unwind. Our core values of tolerance, mutual respect, openness, and friendliness form the foundation of our community. We believe that everyone should feel welcome and included at the university, regardless of their background or culture.

As part of our commitment to supporting students and researchers, we offer a range of services and events. Our team is dedicated to providing information on degree and internship opportunities, admission requirements, administrative procedures, and the structure of the university. We also offer guidance on finding Polish language courses, sports activities, as well as health insurance and visa requirements.

The Welcome Point is dedicated to making your time in Bielsko-Biala as enjoyable and enriching as possible. That's why we organize cultural, informational, and integration events throughout the academic year. Whether you're looking to make new friends, learn about Polish culture, intercultural communication, or just have fun, there's always something going on at the Welcome Point. Where can you find us?
The Welcome Point is an open space in the L building, located on the 4th floor right next to the computer lab. It’s a place where you can relax, meet with friends, coordinators, or just work. The Welcome Point is also a place where you can meet with workers from the International Relations Office, who will be glad to help you during your time at our university!
